2.) Tsunami Victim - Johnson Family

Sheeja Johnson's husband Mr Soman Johnson died in the Tsunami, working as a fisherman on the beach. He was 42. Mrs Sheeja Soman is 32 and is from Kerala and had chosen to marry a Christian, although she is from a Hindu family. Theirs, in Indian terms, was a "love marriage" not an arranged marriage and not supported by her family.

They have three children - Nitin Joshi (boy) 10; Nikhil Joshi (boy) 6 and Abirami Joshi (girl) 4. All three are wonderful, healthy and happy kids.

Funding
To educate the three children in a good English teaching school in Kerala, Rs.3500/month ongoing fund will be allocated until the children have finished education. From January 2006 Mrs Sheeja Johnson will be taking up a tailoring course for a year which the fund will cover. .
